REPLY TO NAZIS.
BY VATICAN CITY. (12.50) VATICAN CITY, Nov. 19. The Vatican radio, refuting a Spanish newspaper’s assertion that Nazism is not contradictory to Christian ideals, declared that the Germans were attempting to substitute Nazi theories for Catholicism The whole of the Catholic educational organisation had been systematically destroyed, monasteries closed, and priests deported., The State had not recognised canonical marriage and 400 priests had been brought into Germany lately from Poland.
