FALL FROM PLANE.
PARACHUTE NOT WORN. (Rec. 12.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, Nov. 19. Pilot-Officer L. Baylis, an instructor at tho elementary flying training school at the Kingsford Smith Airport, was killed when lie fell from a training plane at a considerable height into a street in Randwick during an aerobatics manoeuvre. It was officially stated later that neither Baylis nor his pupil, who brought the plane down safely, was wearing a parachute.
