PRICES IN BRITAIN.
(British Official Wireless.) (Rec. 10.37 a.m.) RUGBI, Nov. 17. Wholesale prices in Britain, as measured by the Board of Trade monthly index number, were about 1 per cent, higher in October than September, the aggregate increases since the outbreak or the war are: General index, 4oi per cent; food prices, 58* per cent; materials and manufactures, 39 per cent. ,
