JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES.

Per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Nov. 17. Pamphlets published by the Watch Tower, Bible and Tract Society which, with Jehovah’s Witnesses, was recently declared an illegal organisation, were distributed at Hawera on Saturday night. A mail who was arrested and detained will appear in Court to-mor-row. A resident who found a pamphlet when lie returned home observed-a man enter several properties. He advised the police and, after a short search, a man was accosted and taken to the police station. A . large number of pamphlets and other material associated withvthe activities of Jehovah’s Witnesses were later removed from a car standing in the street.
