FLOWER DAY

Every effort is being made to make Flower Day, on Thursday next, ap outstanding success. Palmerston North has the reputation of being a garden city and it is expected that the appeal for flowers will meet with a generous response. Street sellers are also needed, and an advertisement appears in thin issue soliciting support. The funds are in aid of the £1,030,000 Appeal, and it is hoped that the public will liberally respond to this patriotic effort.
