PAHIATUA.
Mr 11. Cotter, president of the Pahialua A. and P. Association, is visiting Napier. Miss M, Moriarty has returned from a holiday spent in Hamilton and Paeroa. The first of the Pahiatua men called un in the recent Territorial ballot who 'will proceed to Dannevirke for training are Messrs W. A. Andrews, A. J. Brcmner, M. Douglas, D. Gunn, A. J. K. Lea, R. D. Matthews, F. W. Jaques and L. C, Benton.
At a concert staged by the Patriotic Entertainment Committee the sum of £sl Was taken at tho door and a uag appeal conducted by Boy Scouts yielded £5 15s.
