CITIZENS' LUNCH CLUB.

"In England" was the subject of an address given to the Citizens' Lunch Club yesterday by Mrs E. E. Martin, of Kopane, who returned from a visit) to that country just over a year ago. Mrs Martin described her experiences during her tour through the country and also tho many interesting and historic places she visited. The agricultural aspects of the country and comparisons with New Zealand conditions were also illustrated by the speaker. Mr T. R. Hodder proposed a vote of thanks to Mrs Martin. The chairman (Mr J. A. Nash) welcomed as visitors Mrs Hunter (Pahnerston North) and Messrs F. G. Martin (Kopane) and J. McLeavey. (Levin).
