EXTENSION OP LIFE. (British Official Wireless.) (Ree. 11.40 a.m.) RUGBY, Oct 23. Sir John Anderson (Home Secretary), speaking in the House of Commons on the Bill to prolong for a further year the. present Parliament, whicn automatically ends under the Parliament Act in November, made the following statement with the authority or the Prime Minister and the \\ar Oar>'""An" appeal to the electorate .must always remain the final constitutional method to resolve all grave issues or national policy. No one can r° res what circumstances will arise, but in normal conditions it would be the «3.sire of the Government, when a general election again became Practicable to give sufficient notice for the creation of a now register. This interval afford an opportunity for the -House to consider, if so desired questions connected with changes in the Britisn electoral system." ■ :
