The Stcfani Agency said it is not expected that Don Suner’s visit will go beyond clarifying Spain's non-belli-gerent position. It is emphasised that the Axis has not induced Spain to abandon her non-belligerency.

“Italy and Germany regard Spam as a necessary and vital element in the new order in Europe and are determined to support her unreservedly so she may regain the position to which she is entitled. Spain may remain nonbelligerent, but her men and policy belong to the Axis system ’•
