(Bee. 11.10 a.m.) ■ LONDON. Oct. 2. Nearly thrice the average, Britain’s shipping losses in the week ending September'22-23 were the highest since the outbreak of the War. The losses were principally ' due. to the U-boats’ intensified activity before the arrival of the United States destroyers.
