LONDON, Sept. 30. Rubber is quoted at 11 29-32 d a lb. Tin : Spot, buyers £257 10s a.,ton, sellers £258; forward, buyers £261 a ton, so'.lcrs £261 10s.

There is still a keen demand for all classes of store stock in the Waikato and the market remains buoyant. Grown steers are coming forward in quite good numbers, but with ample feed available, the inquiry has been well sustained, prices remaining fully, firm, with an improvement in some eases. Yearling Jersey heifers continue to attract keen bidding and, although 'larger entries of this class are being penned at some sales, the demand exceeds tho supply with the'result that prices remain very high.
