Prices of fruit and vegetables in the AVellington markets on Thursday were: Tree tomatoes, 8s to 12s por box. Asparagus, 15s to 20s; turnips, 2s to 3s; rhubarb, 4s to 235; swedes, 3s 6d; onions, 24s to 365; carrot, 2s; beetroot, 2s to 3s per dozen bunches; cucumbers, 13s to 18s per dozen. Carrots. Is 6d to 2s 6d; parsnips, Is to 2s; sprouts, 6s to 10s, all per sugar bag. Silver beet, 6d to Is; cabbage, 6d to 6s; swedes, 2s to 2s 6d: leeks, Is 9d to 3s 6d; cauliflower, 4s to ss; parsnips, 4s to 7s; carrots. 2s to 5s 6d; beetroot, 2s to 4s; spinach, 3s to 6s; lettuce, Is to 7s 3d; snrouts, 5s 6d to 30s: celery, 4s to 10s 9d. all per ease. Cauliflowers, 3s to 12s; cabbage Is to 6s; pumpkins, 18s 1o 235; swedes. 3s; carrots, 4s, ail per sack. Potatoes, £5 10s to £6 10s per ton; onions, 12s to 15s per cental bag.
