SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 6. ' The abandonment of the Dominion men’s swimming championships for the duration of the war has been decided upon by the council of the Amateur Swimming Association. However, the junior, intermediate, and women’s championships will, be held at a combined meeting, the location of which has been referred to a swimming conference to be held in Wellington.
