WOODVILLE DAIRY CO. The 25th annual report to be submitted to the meeting of shareholders of toe Woodville Dairy Company reveals a substantially increased output of cheese a record for the company. Additional space and new equipment in the curing-room, it is stated, will enable _ the lactory to deal with additional supplies expected under the Government’s scheme to increase cheese production. The milk collection scheme lias worked smoothly and giv cn every satisfaction, 23.39 of the total butterlat supplied having been collected by the company’s own truck. The average payout per pound of butterfat for the 1938-39 season was 17.69 d, or, including dividend,, 17.82 d. Among the payments recommended to be paid from the balance shown in the appropriation account are: Further payment tor season 1939-40 of 2 2 d per lb butterfat; dividend on paid-up capital at 5 per cent, (free of social secuiity and national security charges), rhe estimated season average pay-out for the current season is 17.4964 d, or, jf dividend is included, 17.6033 d. The retiring directors are Messrs D., Dodd, 11. E. Leach, and A. <J. Vo well, and ' they are all eligible foi re-election.
