CANBERRA AIR CRASH.

VERDICT AT INQUIRY. Received August 27, 10.50 a.m. CANBERRA, Aug. 27. Expert medical evidence given at the Coroner’s inquiry stated that all ten victims of the Canberra air disaster on August 13 were killed in the crash, and not bv incineration. The Coroner, recording a finding of accidental death, found that all the victims had died from fractures of the skull. The victims were: Brigadier G» A. Street, Minister of the Army a.nd Repatriation ; Mr J. V. Eairbairn, Minister of Air and Civil Aviation ; Sir Henry Gullett, Vice-President of the Executive Council; Lieutenant-General Sir Brudenell White, Chief of the General Staff; Lieutenant-Colonel Francis Thomthwaite, of Army Headquarters; Mr R. E. Elford, private secretary to Mr Eairbairn; ElightLieutenant R. Hitchcock. Pilot-Officer R. Wiesner; Corporal J. Palmer, wireless operator; and Aircraftsman C. Crosdaie.
