COMPETITIONS SUCCESS.

Among the most successful competitors at the JJawera Competitions Society’s festival were Betty and Dawn Olsen, daughter of Air and Airs N. Olsen, of Palmerston North. Betty Olsen was first in the skipping dance, 13 and over (14 entries) and v.hic. ill the song and dance; and Dawn Olsen was first in the action song in costume, second in the song and dance, and v.h.c. in the skipping dance, character recital, and operatic dance.
