HUGE WAR LOANS.
Received August 27, 2.5 p.m. SINGAPORE, Aug. 26. The Legislative Council has approved a 25,000,000 dollar war loan. The Federated Malay States have approved a 20,000,000 war loan. NEW ZEALAND LOANS. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Aug. 27. Interest-free loans received by the Minister of Finance include: Ohai Railway Board, £10,000; Romney Breeders’ Association, £IOOO (both for the duration and six months).
