TENSION INCREASES.
GRE EK-ITALIAN FRICTION. LONDON, Aug. 22. Ttlie Athens correspondent of the Daily Mail says an Italian aeroplane was shot down over a Greek arms factory 30 miles from Athens. .The General Staff has decided to investigate the incident on the spot. Lt is reported that Italians are massing on the Greek-Alhanian frontier and defensive booms have been placed at the entrances to the harbours ol Athens and Salonika.
