ITALY GUILTY.

SINKING OF GREEK SHIP. ATHENS, Aug. 21. A torpedo fragment removed from the Greek cruiser HeJle, which was torpedoed and sunk in the Aegean Sea. bore the words “Turin, 1930,” revealing -that the submarine responsible was Italian.

It is feared that eight lives were lost when the Swedish ship Hedrun (2325 tons) was torpedoed without warning in the Atlantic, states a London report. A British warship landed three survivors.

The Berlin radio states that the British have seized the Finnish ship Mathilda Thorden (3641 tons), which was laden with cargo forPetsamo (Finland).
