AIR RAID NEWS.
WHY NAZIS ARE FIRST. Received August 22, 1.35 p.m. , LONDON, Aug. 21. Replying to complaints, particularly from America, about delays of British new's of the air battles, the Minister of Information (Mr A. Duff Cooper) in the House of Commons said German propagandists had two considerable advantages—firstly, previous knowledge of when a raid was occurring and secondly, complete disregard of the truth, enabling them to begin sending false accounts to America before their machines reached this country. He added he was arranging to accelerate the despatch of news.
