CRIPPLED CHILDREN
KEEPING FLAG FLYING. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Aug. 22. Opening the annual meeting of the New Zealand Crippled Children Society, Lady Galway remarked on the presence of more men than women, which she 6aid was a reversal of tho usual state of affairs at other meetings she had the privilege of opening. She said that in a world torn by war it was naturally harder to keep good causes prominently before the public than in normal times, but a sense of proportion had to he maintained and, though the future of all their lives depended on the outcome of the war, it was necessarv to keep the flag flying in such causes as that espoused by the society.
