PETROL STATION HOURS.
The attention of motorists is drawn to an advertisement appearing in this issue in connection with the hours for the sale of petrol. Pursuant to Government regulations, these new hours will come into force on Monday next. August 26, 1940. Although ordinary service stations will not. now resell petrol on Sundays and with the exception' of Friday night will observe a closing hour at 6 p.m., the motoring public are provided with an emergency supply station .located at 280 Rangitikci Street. This emergency station will -not operate when normal stations are open and will supply petrol on Sundays and up to 11 p.m. on week nights.
