A new “improved wood,” developed recently for use in aircraft construction, has shown remarkable prospects during tesrs. according to Air J. M. Gosper, director of the Timber Development Association of Australia. Its strength is said to be amazing, and its increase in weight, compared with the same section of ordinary timber, is only 40 per cent.
