REGULATED DELIVERIES.
PROCEDURE ANNO C NCED. AVELLINGTON. Aug. 9. A procedure for regulating the delivery of basic foodstuffs and similar commodities, such as meat, bread, nnlk, coal, firewood and groceries, is set out in regulations gazetted last night. If an association or body of vendors submits a scheme-to the Minister of Supply for regulating tho delivery of any commodity in a district so as to eliminate unnecessary overlapping, tho Minister may, if satisfied that all vendors concerned aro parties to the scheme or have been given tlie opportunity to become parties to it, approve the scheme either conditionally or subject to such conditions as lie think fit. AATiile any notice approving a scheme for a commodity is in force no person shall, except as provided in the schema whether as principal, agent, or otherwise, deliver that commodity in tho district (otherwise than by sale over the counter) unless he is a vendor who is a party to the scheme and his name and address are specified in that behalf in the notice approving the scheme.
