MART REPORT.

The Dominion Auctioneering C 6., Ltd., repoit receiving a large entry of pigs at their usual weekly sa,e held on Thursday, and to a large attendance of buyers a total clearance was made. All classes were in keen demand, one line of 24 good conditioned light store pigs averaging 445. Porkers sold from £3 to £3 15s; weaners sold, according to quality, from 25s to 30s each. A capacity yarding of poultry came forward, there being a good demand for all classes, particularly good table birds and laying fowls. Tho usual supply of fruit and produce was disposed of, cauliflowers and lettuce in particular, commanding high prices. We quote as follows ;—Pigs : Best weanors, 25s to 30s each ; medium 20s to 24s each; light, 18s to 20s each; slips, 30s-to 35s each; stores, 40s to 465; heavy porkers, £3, £3 2s 6d, £5 6s to £3 14s each; light porkers, £2 10s, £2 16s to £2 18s; Berkshire sow, £6 10s; Berkshire boar, £3. Poultry : Heavy 8.0. liens, 5s to 6s each; heavy W.L. liens, 4e to 5s oacb ; yearling hens, 6s to 7s each; young ducks, 4s 6d to 5s each; older ducks, 3s 6d to 5s 6d each; pullets, 4s to 7s 9d each; heavy cockerels, 5s to 6s each; medium cockerels, 3s 6d to 5s 6d each; geese, 3s 6d to 5s each; turkey gobblers, 10s 6d to 11s 6d each; turkey hens, 6s to 7s 6d each; day-old cockerels, Is 6d to 5s 6d each.
