The four miles sealed handicap run conducted by tbe Marton Harrier Club was won by the scratch man. F. Hill, who covered the distance in 22 minutes 12 seconds. A road course .was selected — around Newman’s block— and the race commenced from Air and Airs W. Taylor’s residence, Pukepapa Road. The sealed handicap resulted: —F. IT ill (scr.) 1, .T.
