Three teams of the Carnarvon Bing Pong Club journeyed to Awahuri to play members • there. MacCallum presided over a meeting of the Awahuri patriotic entertainment committee. Arrangements were made to farewell those leaving the district with the Third Echelon. The secretary is to advertise the function as soon as the date is decided.
