KING GIVES PROOF OF IDENTITY. LONDON, July 21. During a 100-mile tour of stations of the Bomber Command group, made by the King on Friday. His Majesty was challenged at a road block by a sentry, Harry 1 Kenny. Replying to “Who goes there?” His Majesty said, “The King,” and, smiling. produced his identity card. Kenny won the Victoria Cross in 1915 for bringing in six wounded comrades.
