Stray hints that will prove of value to the wardrobe mistress:To make sheer stockings last longer it is wise to keep them m an air-tight tin, and away from strong sunlight. A scent-pad stored away with gloves and handkerchiefs will provide that illusive perfume which adds allure to the evening toilet. Perfume provided 'in this manner is more subtle than -the raw perfume provided by a scentspray. In addition, the perfume will linger longer because it is properly impregnated. It is a gbod plan to give metal buttons a coating of invisible varnisli before affixing them to garments, as they will then last much longer without becoming tarnished.
