NATIONAL PARTY

WOMEN’S ORGANISATION. At the monthly meeting of the Feilding women’s branch of the National Party the president reported that the social evening held recently was a success and it was hoped that another function would be arranged. Country members were present in addition to visitors from Palmerston North. The ladies, it was stated, had offered their services to the Red Cross shop and were desirous of assisting the Patriotic Committee in a similar manner. It was decided to assist Mrs It. E. Seddon, president of the Lady Galway Patriotic Committee, with her shop day to be held next month, and members were asked to make donations either in money or by way of goods for sale. Several members indicated their intention of. attending a social evening arranged by the Palmerston North branch.
