FEILDING BRANCH. At tlie monthly meeting of the Plimit et Society, yesterday, Mrs A. C. McCorltindale presided. Members present were: Mesdames A. It. Parker, S. Evans, P. G. Miles, C. Millen, W. Green, H. Brown, I. Goldfinch, It. Bowles T. Donaldson, It. M. Watson, L. H. Penhey, T. F. Fitz Gerald, L. Blackburn, V. J. Stichbury and It. W. Rentoul. Nurse Briggs reported that, owing to the petrol shortage, attendance at the sub-station’s rooms had fallen off. Visits to the sub-station's rooms were 18 adults, 18 babies, one child; 15 visits were paid to homes, and there were two new babies. At Feilding;, visits to ihe rooms included .307 adults, 309 babies, 18 children, 21 new babies; 16 visits to homes, and advice was given bv telephone to 25 mothers. The financial statement showed a balance of £4O, The president reported that the table-setting competition was most successful and £2O had been raised. Thanks were due to those who had helped in any way to make the competition a success. Mr J. .Overland and Mrs E. Hibberd were the winners of two competitions.
