OBITUARY.
AIJSS ELIZABETH CHEETHAAI. The death occurred recently of Miss Elizabeth Cheetham, of Ngata Street, Palmerston North, eldest daughter of the late Mr and Mrs James Cheetham. She ivas born in Wolsingham, Durham, England, and came to New Zealand with her parents, arriving in AVellingto.il in 1883. For a time they lived in the Hutt A 7 alley and later came to Palmerston North. For the last 23 years Aliss Cheetham had lived in Ngata Street. Miss Cheetham was an enthusiastic gardener, and devoted most of her leisure to this hobby. She formed a wide circle of friends, to whom she'endeared herself by her kindly disposition, and she will be greatly missed. She is survived by four brothers, Messrs John, James, F. and H. Cheetham, all of Palmerston North, and three sisters, Mesdames C. Eason and R. Baylie7of Lower Hutt, and Mrs H. J. Burrell, of Palmerston North. Another brother, Mr T. Cheetham, of Te Puke, predeceased lier.
