* ROME, Aug. 1, The Rome paper Tevere, in a frontpage dispatch from Belgrade, reports that British and French mines in Yugoslavia have been taken oyer by the Government, and the entire lead and copper production throughout the country is to be divided between Italy and Germany. DEFENCE EXPENDITURE. Received August 2. 11.45 a.m. BELGRADE. Aug. 1. The Finance Minister (Dr Stutcy), introducing the Budget, revealed that Yugoslavia was spending £5,000,000 more on armaments than last year, the total defence expenditure exceeding £19,000.000.
