REPLY TO UNION’S PROPOSALS

A suggestion from the Manawatu Rugby Union’s meeting of club delegates, held on Tuesday, was considered at a meeting of the Referees’ Association last evening, the proposal being that a conference between the two bodies be held. The following resolution was carried unanimously: “That if an apology is forthcoming from the player Barnao to Mr Weston for .having used the expression elainied within his hearing, the association will then be available for a conference.”
