SYDNEY, June 13. The round-up of Italian nationals in all Australian States continued today, and it is understood that at least 2000 males of military age or holding F’ascist sympathies have already been interned and about 5000 await examination bv the military (authorities. The chief Italian colonies are located in the Queensland canefields, also in the Griffith and Leeton irrigation areas of Southern New South \V ales, and the, Werribee and Shepparton districts of Victoria. / H Tlie apprehension of Italians oil the sugar plantations in Queensland led to an awkward? situation where canecutting is in full swing. A report from Brisbane to-day states that ample labour is likely to be forthcoming when the Commonwealth drive against aliens is completed.
