’ (From Our Own Correspondent.) BEACONSFIELD, June 11. The following is tho draw for a golf medal round to be played next Saturday. A putting competition will he held in conjunction with it; Mrs Blue and Mrs McCombie, Mrs L>. Old and Mies Wither, Mrs Wither and Miss Clare, Mrs C. Corpo and Mrs Stephens, Mrs J Old and Mrs Usmar, Miss T. Old and Miss D. Shannon, Mrs Short and Miss C. Williamson, Miss Coggin and Miss Stratford. The best cards handed in by tho men last Saturday were: F. Ackerman, 3 down; K. Bunn, 5 down; J. Old, T. Wilson, 6 dowg. The following is the draw for next Saturday’s medal (Bennett Cup) competition: J. Old and M. McLean, K. Bunn and J. Strickland, G. Coggin and\F. Arrow, D. Old and E. Wooilams, C. Curtis and G. Truman, C. Corpe and D- Blue, R. Jaggard and J. Wither, E. Buchanan and F. Ackerman, T. Wilson and N. Short. Halcombc men golfers arc paying a visit to the local links at the week-end and the following will represent Beaconsfield: F. Arrow, E. Buchanan, J. Old, G. Coggin, I). Blue, T. \yilson, M. McLean, G. .Curtis, J. Wither, R* '.Jaggard, F. Ackerman, J. Strickland, I). Old, K. Bunn, G. Truman, C. Corpe. E Wooilams. Mr T. Wilson was successful in retaining the Strickland Button when challenged by Mr D. Blue. Mrs J. Old will be tea hostess next Saturday. The older cribbage players met the present learn in tho school on Monday and a good game resulted in a win for the young
