FOXTON, June 12. In tlio Magistrate's Court, before Mr A. M. Goulding, S.M., C. Boak, of Tauranga, | was charged with driving a car on the I‘oxton-Himatangi Road without due cat-c and attention on February 18. A fine of £1 was imposed. AV. F. Grubb, charged with speeding in Johnston Street on April 28, was fined £2. 14. A. Turner was charged with operating a motor vehicle and trailer which did not have a warrant of fitness and with operating a vehicle which had no rear vision mirror. Or: the first charge he was ordered to pay costs 10s, and on the second lie was fined £l. T. Baverstock, charged with driving a motor vehicle on the Himatangi highway, such vehicle having no rear vision mirror attached, was fined £l. B. R. Christensen was charged that he drove a motor vehicle which did not poetess a warrant of fitness; and that he did not possess a driver’s. license. Defendant wag fined 15s on the first charge and £1 on the second. J. 11. AVilson, charged with driving a heavy motor vehicle without a heavy traffic license, W’as fined C 3. C. Walker, for riding a bicycle with no light after dark, was fined £l. A. Smith was charged that on May 16 he rode a bicycle after 'dark without any light and without a rear red reflector. lie w'as fined £1 'on the first charge and 5s on ihe second. AV. IF. Hooper, for allowing a cow to wander in Avenue Road was fined £l. V. 14. Bryant, charged with operating a heavy motor vehicle near Palmerston North without a heavy traffic license, was fined 10s. A. Parker, charged by the Manawatu County Council with allowing 22 head of cattle to graze on No. 1 Line on May 15, was fined £l.
