MANAWATU v. WANGANUI. The Manawatu Rugby Union will play its first senior renresentativc match of the season, at the Showgrounds on Saturday afternoon, when Wanganui will provide the opposition.:. Despite losses through players enlisting for service with the forces, both unions have assembled strong, teams and in the new representatives to bo seen there is an abundance of talent. Air Force members will be seen in the Manawatu ranks for the first time, am) are expected to make a substantial contribution to the plav. The kick-ofT is timed for 2.30 p.m., and patrons are promised a highly entertaining match.
