Reaching £125,700 to-night, the Sick and Wounded Fund is half-way toward the objective aimed at when it was launched a little more than a fortnight ago.'Returns to date'are:- — Auckland. £28.000; Wellington, £28,700; Canterbury, £23,300; Dunedin, £14,500; Gisborne, £1100; Hawke’s Bay., £11,400; Taranaki, £ 60C0; Blenheim. £700; West Coast, £800; Palmerston North, £8000; Wanganui, £3200. The sum of £lllß was added to the fund by, a street appeal in Christchurch ; more than 600 collectors took part. ;A. /
