FEILDING STOCK SALE.
MODERATE YARDING. FEW STORE LAMBS. For'the Feilding stock sale to-day a smaller entry ot store sheep, comprising mostly ewes, came to hand, there being a short supply of lambs. There were, however, several pens of good quality b.f. lambs. Fat sheep came to hand in larger numbers than last week and there was a fair offering of ewe mutton. In the cattle pens boner cows were best represented, and the fat cattle were confined to a moderate yarding of station and ex-dairy beef. Station cattle were made up of several pens of S.H. bullocks and P.A. heifers and steers, vitli an odd pen of cows with calves at foot. There was a fair offering of dairy cattle. Prices up to 1 p.m. were as follow: Fat sheep.—AY ethers, 19s, 21s Gd, 23s Gd, 23s 9d, 24s Gd, 25s 10d,. 26s Id, 26s 2d ; lamb,?., 12s 9d, 18s 7d, 18s Bd, 19s 3d 22s 3d, 235. 23s Id; ewes 12s 7d 15s Gd. 16s Id, 16s 7d, 17s, 17s lOd, 18s, 18s Gd, 18s Bd, 21s 2d. 22s lOd. Store sheep.—Breeding ewes, 2-tooth 27s 3d, 29s 3d, 29s 4d ; fonr-vear, 245; 4 and 6-tooth, 295; m.a., 2os: b.f. lambs, 18s 3d; ewe lambs, 20s 3d; wether lambs, 17s Gd, 16s 4d. Store cattle.—Cows. £2 os to £4; heifers, £4. Dairy cattle.—Spg. cows, £B, £9, £9 os; do., heifers, £3 12s Gd ; £7 2s 6d, £7 15s; cows in milk, £3 12s Gd; do., heifers, £3 15s.
