(From Our Own Correspondent.) APITI, April 24. The biennial householders’ meeting was held on Monday evening. Mr 11. Wildbore presided over a small attendance. The report showed a year of outstanding progress in which a piano, a projector, and a small section (for experimental purposes) had been purchased. The election of officers resulted: Messrs 11. Wildbore (chairman), W. Hogan (secretary and treasurer), S. Loquosnc (all re-elected), D. McNicol and J. D. Kilgour. Messrs A. W. Bonseman and G. Watkins did not seek re-elec-tion. Mr Prujean moved a vote of thanks to the , committee for their outstanding services also to the school staff for their excellent co-operation and wonderful work with the children. Mr Wildbore replied for his committee and Mr S. F. Morris (head teacher) for the staff. As the books were not to hand from the Education Board it was decided to adjourn the mooting till a future date when the books are returned, and the financial statement can be presented. NOTES. The Methodist Bible class hold a social evening at the Parsonage, when games and competitions were enjoyed. Mr and Mrs A. Vilen are visiting Wellington. Mr and Mrs F. Willis are in Wellington. Mrs T. Nix spent the week-end in Wellington. Rev. McKenzie, Assistant-Di-rector of the Missions of the Presbyterian Church, conducted the evening service last Sunday. Supper was served after the service and members had an opportunity of meeting Mr McKenzie. Mr \V. Duncan has returned from Wellington. Mr W. McKay has been visiting Tnupo. Mr and Mrs W. Jensen arc in Wellington.
