Tho New Zealand Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd., report that an exceptionally heavy yarding of cattle came forward at the Huntcrville Cattle Fair on Monday to an excellent attendance. Our share of tho entry was 650 head. Tho market opened very quickly and in the. early part, several pens of bullocks were passed, hut as the sale progressed bidding became keener and vendors seemed prepared to meet the market, and the general tone of the sale tinned up considerably and several of the passed-in pens wore sold privately afterwards. A nice pen on account of J. G. Moon made ±lB 12s 6d, and a small pen of fat bullocks on account of the same owner made £lO 10s. In the female section there was a heavy yarding, and fat and forward cows met good competition throughout and we can report a total clearance in this section. A very nice line of 48 2i-.vr. P.A. heifers r.w.b. P.B .P.A. bulls on account of Messrs C. T. and A. 11. Chisholm, Ltd., realised £5 10s and were puichascd by Taranaki buyers. An' extra good line of 45 fat and forward P.A. heifers on account of Mr Duncan Cameron realised £7 after very keen competition. This line was secured by Mr A. O. Col I is, of Ivairanga.
