NAZI ’PLANES DRIVEN OFF. (British Official Wireless.) Received April 23, 10.10 a.m. RUGBY, April 22. A French official comnnuw.uo reports: “There was activity ol our patrols east of the Moselle.” A Press Association report says that German ’planes attempting to reach Paris were driven off. The French official evening communique stated: “There were artillery actions in the vicinity of the lilies.” Another later French official evening communique states: “To the east ol the Moselle we repulsed by our lire the attack of am enemy detachment which did not succeed in approaching our outpost. During Sunday and Monday nights in the course of an encounter with one of our patrols an enemy reconnaissance aeroplane was attacked and tell in Belgium.”
