The members of the Defence Rifle Club continued the season’s competitions on Saturday, when the third shoot was lited over (bo 600 yards range, under very tricky wind and light conditions. All the surrounding districts were well represented. Interesting games resulted in the euchre, and Mrs Harris was successful in the Indies’ section, and Mr Short in the men s. Dancing was continued to the strains of a professional orchestra.
