RED CROSS DANCE.
An enjoyable evening was spent by the large crowd who attended the dance held by the Red Cross Society in the P.D.C. tearooms, on Wednesday. The committee responsible for the excellent arrangements comprised Mesdames 1). Lyne (chairwoman), W. H. Richardson Ej Wilde, J. Penman. Messrs R. G. Kelly, M. C. Read, C. L. Turnbull, liver, B. Craig, and Miss L. Gough (secretary). The M.C.’s were Messrs A. it. McKegg and T. Twigge and music for extra dances was played by Mrs M. C. Read and Mr B. Ryan. A Monte Carlo dance was won by Air and Mrs Read and the lucky Gay Gordons by Mr R. Hill and Miss M. Murray.
