STEADY EXPANSION. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, April IS. Satisfaction with the expansion of New Zealand’s air force was expressed by Hon. F. Jones. (Minister for Defence), to-day, when he stated that the strength at present is 3604 airmen and 387 officers. Thirty-six pilotofficers arc en route to England and 2096 applicants await an interview by the Selection Committee.
