TRIBUTES IN N.S.W.

SYDNEY, April 2. As a mark of respect to the memory of New Zealand’s late Prime Minister, the New South Wales Legislative Assembly to-day stood in silence for one minute. The Assembly placed on record its sorrow and its sympathy with the Government and people of the Dominion. Tributes followed by the Premier (Mr Mair), the leader of the Labour Opposition (Mr McNeil) and others.
