SCHOOL CRICKET MATCH.

The annual cricket match, between the Wairarapa College second eleven, and the Palmerston North Technical High School first eleven was concluded on Tuesday afternoon. The match which was played at the Technical School grounds in Grey Street, was won by the home side by 32 runs on the first innings. Technical School had first use of the wicket on Alonday afternoon and made 82 runs. 'Wairarapa opened their innings on Tuesday and made 50 runs (Hayes 27; Todd 4 for 14; Hastie, 3 for 7). ’lechnica School in their second innings were all out for 88 runs (Weston 29, Collet 22), and at the close of play Wairarapa College in their second strike had lost 4 wickets for 83 (Jaine 31 not out, Skitter 29). Air G. G. Haneox, formerly director of the Palmerston North Technical School and now principal of Wairarapa College, accompanied the latter team.
