This versatile songster brigade, under the baton of Songster-Leader .Jones, consists of 33 voices, and includes a nude voice octette and an instrumental parly, all of whom will take part in the devotional services at the citadel in Broadway during Good Friday. Mr J. 11. Runntcles, hUS.II., will conduct, a. lecture-practice at 4.30 p.m. on Saturday. A fine partnership festival has been arranged for Saturday night at 8 o'clock. On Easter Sunday at 11 a.m. the combined songster brigades (Palmerston North and Auckland) will sing dude's “Consecration” as arranged by Mr Tregurtha, choirmaster of St. Paul’s Methodist Church, Palmerston North. Three songster brigades will take part in the afternoon session at 2.30 p.m. Mr J. 11. Runnicies will be the conductor. At 7 p.m. the massed choirs will be heard in the triumphant anthem, “Behold the Gate.”
