ROTARY CLUB

MEMBERS ENTERTAINED. Mr J. A. Grant, president of the Palmerston North Rotary Club, and Mrs Grant, gave a party on Monday in Alessrs Collinson and Cunningluimc’s tearooms, when they entertained club members and their wives. Songs were rendered by Mrs K. Jones and Air H. Pierard, the accompanists being Air C. W. Teppett and Airs Pierard. Air J. Aturray gave a most interesting address embodying a general outline of the addresses at the recent conference, and Air G. F. Framjec showed moving pictures of the conference. In recognition of bis work during the conference a special Rotary button was presented to Air Grant, on behalf of all the members, In- Air J. Selwyn (vice-president). Air G. G. Priest was presented with a fountain pen and pencil as a mark, of appreciation of his work as conference secretary.
